Description
This small hummingbird gets its name from the distinctive white stripe, on both the male and female of the species, which stretches from its eyes, across its ears and down to its chest. Their breeding location is in pine oak forests from southeastern Arizona to western Texas and through Mexico to southern Nicaragua.
